Richard Schriefer
Richard joined AXA Advisors, LLC in August of 1998 and became a Partner in Dayton & Sydney Wealth Strategies, LLC in January 2008. He is a Financial Consultant who assists individuals, businesses, professionals, and endowments in developing strategies to achieve their financial goals. The process that he employs with his clients is to analyze their current situation, identify their needs, and then design cost-effective strategies to financial challenges. He also assists in the recommendation and implementation of investment and insurance vehicles.
Richard is also a Senior Consultant in AXA Advisors’ Settlement Planning Group, which focuses on working with plaintiff attorneys and their clients. As a Leader of the Settlement Planning Group he has been trained to deal with, the unique circumstances that surround settlements, whether they result from personal injury, wrongful death, or medical malpractice, etc. The Settlement Planning Group assists in designing and placing structured settlements, as well as in implementing trust and asset management controls to protect a plaintiff’s jury award.

Retirement Planning Specialist title awarded by AXA Advisors, based upon receipt of Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The Retirement Planning Specialist title is awarded by AXA Advisors, based upon the Financial Professional’s (FP) receipt of a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In a collaboration between the Wharton School and AXA Advisors’ affiliate, AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company (NY, NY), coursework for the certificate was developed exclusively for AXA Advisors FPs, and the title may be used only by FPs who have completed the required coursework and maintain the title through ongoing continuing education requirements.
